How to select the right saree in 3 simple steps

Picture this. You walk into a saree store. You view all their collection. You even like some of it, but don’t know which one to buy. Don’t worry. Today, we’ll show you how to select the right saree for you in 3 simple steps.

Step 1: Know your body type

Firstly, it is important to know your body type, and it’s not enough just to know if you’re fat or thin. A thorough assessment will help you understand yourself specifically into different categories:

  • Pear-shaped body
  • Slim figure
  • Tall and slim body
  • Have a healthy weight
  • Short women
  • Thin body
  • Slightly overweight

See how specific these are?

As you see, there are so many body types so it’s important to identify where you fit in first. At Laxmipati, we’ve options ranging for all body types.

Step 2: Select the right colour

Who doesn’t have a favorite colour? We bet you do too. Blue, green, yellow, golden, orange – you name it and we’ve got it all.

It makes more sense if you have some colours in your mind as you start looking. Because there are plenty of colours to choose from, it just adds to confusion.

Instead, we suggest picking 2-3 of your favorite colours before you pick your saree. This way you know which saree will fit your needs.

Step 3: Select the right saree type

Now that you know your body type and you also know the type of colours you’re looking for, it becomes much easier to show for the right saree.

There are different saree types you can choose from our several options:

  • Printed
  • Embroidery
  • Georgette
  • Chiffon
  • Traditional or Party wear
  • And more

You can select the saree type per your requirement and needs.

Now that you know the 3 steps, why not try it yourself? Which saree are you going to choose?
