Laxmipati Sarees was a proud exhibitor at the recently concluded Textiles India 2017 Event organized by the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. The theme of this year’s inaugural event was “tradition meets technology” and it was only apt that Laxmipati Sarees, India’s largest manmade fabric saree brand - was a part of this mega exhibition.
India, today, is a booming technical textiles market with the largest installed weaving capacity in the world. The Indian textile industry has strong linkage with the agrarian economy and with our culture and traditions. We welcome this initiative of getting investors, buyers, manufacturers and decision makers on a single platform and showcasing India’s strength in the entire gamut of the textile value chain. The very first edition of this event was a Grand Success on all counts.
The entire textile industry is guided by PM Narendra Modi’s vision of farm to fibre, fibre to fabric, fabric to fashion and then fashion to foreign lands for export to the entire world. The 3 day event was full of optimism about increasing India’s contribution to world textile market by building the best-in-class manufacturing infrastructure, upgradation of technology, fostering innovation, enhancing skills and traditional strengths in the textile sector.
The Laxmipati Sarees delegation led by our Director Mr. Rakesh Sarawagi, interacted domestic and international exhibitors, and domestic and international buyers over conferences, round tables, B2B meetings and networking events.
